Exploration History

1966 – 1968

Eight trenches were excavated and one 72 m inclined drillhole was completed. The exploration programme intersected copper mineralization.

1989 – 1991

Three vertical drillholes, ranging from 210 m to 310 m in depth, were completed.   Two main trenches (Nos. 10 and 11) were excavated, with a combined excavation volume of 2,040 m³.

Trench No. 10 intersected a mineralized interval grading 0.26-0.53% Cu. Drillhole No. 1003 intersected copper mineralization grading 0.45% Cu.

•  The deposit has forecast copper resources of approximately 300,000 tons of contained copper, at an average grade of 0.5% Cu.

2005 – 2008

Four inclined drillholes, ranging from 275 m to 317 m in depth, were completed.

Drillhole S-1 intersected: 0-52 m (oxidation zone): 0.24% Cu; 123-125 m: 0.23% Pb, 0.24% Zn and 0.05 g/t Au.

2019 – 2025

Four inclined drillholes (1,200 m) were completed. Thirteen trenches were excavated, with a total excavation volume of 2,038 m³.
