Founder & CEO

Daniel is a highly accomplished attorney and consultant with several decades of professional experience across the legal, financial, and industrial sectors. A graduate of New York Law School and London Business School (MBA), he is uniquely positioned as a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney with an extensive track record of practicing within the CIS region. Daniel has moved to Kazakhstan to pursue opportunities in mining in 2024/

His professional foundation is rooted in a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University, where he held a specific concentration in metallurgy. This technical expertise allows him to bridge the gap between complex geological data and commercial viability, a skill he has applied while providing strategic legal services to global mining giants such as Barrick Gold CIS. His engineering background was further refined during his early career at Schlumberger, where he managed strategic marketing and business development within the high-tech industrial sector.

Throughout his career, Daniel has balanced technical and legal rigor with significant P&L responsibilities and Venture Capital leadership. He previously served as the European Division Managing Director for an American corporation, (Hypercom POS terminal manufacturer)  overseeing staff across Moscow, London, Paris, and Budapest. His financial expertise includes serving as an Investment Officer for a Siemens-subsidiary VC fund, where he developed investment strategies and drafted complex business plans including NPV, IRR, and DCF analyses. Daniel also was the Russian desk for Budapest´s M&A advisory Moellendorf & Co. Securing dozens of  buy and sell mandates for extensive M&A actibitz.

As a veteran of the CIS business landscape, Daniel has a proven history of institutional building, having successfully established and managed professional service firms and legal entities in four CIS countries, as well as the USA and UAE. His deal-making expertise spans over $200 million in potential transactions, including M&A, real estate due diligence, and the procurement of intellectual property. At Klein’s Mines, he leverages this cross-border experience to bridge North American investment with large-scale industrial and mining opportunities in Central Asia.

Barry Davis BSc MSc MAusIMM

Barry has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry within exploration and production companies, globally, with primary focus on Central Asia and China. He has extensive experience in corporate consultancy and management at a board level including start-up companies to IPO’s on AIM, HKSE & TSX (Asia Gold Ltd, Eureka Mining Plc, Pan Pacific Gold/Dragon Mountain Gold Ltd and IRGEM Inc).

Barry has a strong record on environmental and health and safety in the workplace. Through his work, he has demonstrated success in bringing geological conceptual models involving different precious metals to discoveries.

Barry is qualified as a “Competent Person” (CP) according to JORC code to produce Independent Reports and Valuations of mineral resources for Au, Fe, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn and U. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science (Geol) from the University of Canberra in Australia and a MSc in Global Management from University of Salford Manchester UK, and is a member of the AusIMM & AIG in Australia.

Central Asian Mining Specialist

Robert brings a distinguished background in geology and resource management, with a career-long focus on developing complex mineral assets throughout Central Asia. With significant on-the-ground experience in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, he has successfully overseen large-scale exploration programs and production restarts for both precious and base metal deposits. His expertise lies in bridging technical geological requirements with robust operational execution in challenging frontier markets.

Throughout his tenure in the region, Robert has been instrumental in navigating the unique logistical and technical hurdles of the Tien Shan metallogenic belt. He has led multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of feasibility studies and has a proven track record of optimizing mine-site efficiency through the implementation of international safety and environmental standards. His deep understanding of local operating environments makes him a key asset for investors looking to de-risk projects in the CIS mining sector.

Robert is a Certified Professional Geologist (P.G.) by the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG Certificate # 7639), and in addition to his Bsc degree in Geology, he holds an Msc degree in Technology Management. Having developed and taught Mineral Economics at the MBA level across several Kazakhstani universities, Robert possesses a sophisticated command of project valuation and capital allocation. His academic foundation is complemented by his active participation in international mining forums, where he contributes to the dialogue on sustainable resource development and the modernization of mining practices across the Eurasian corridor.

Government Relations Expert

Joel Adamson is a government relations expert with more than 30 years of international experience in project management, engineering, executive leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project evaluation. Based in Astana, he works with Western companies, investors, and institutions seeking to develop opportunities in Kazakhstan, with a focus on government relations, market entry, and cross-border partnership development. Having lived and worked in Kazakhstan for 16 years, he brings a practical understanding of the country’s governmental, cultural, and business environment. He is fluent in Kazakh and conversational in Russian, allowing him to engage directly and effectively with a wide range of local counterparties.

In addition to his broader government relations background, Joel has been building a stronger focus in Kazakhstan’s mining sector. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Vice President of Environmental and Regulatory Affairs for Spectral Capital Corporation – Kazakhstan Gold Mines, where he supported due diligence and project evaluation for gold mining assets in Kazakhstan, with particular attention to environmental approvals, regulatory requirements, and advancement toward potential mine development. More recently, he has been tracking potential involvement with a U.S. government tungsten project in Kazakhstan and meeting with local mining companies and mining engineering firms to better understand current operating conditions, technical challenges, and sector opportunities. Earlier in his career, he also held senior roles in Kazakhstan with major international companies including ExxonMobil and Chevron, giving him substantial experience in complex operating environments where long-term trust, alignment, and execution matter. Joel is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington State.
